About this prototype
From our previous policy writer prototype, we’d learnt that policy officers need to be able to search evidence as they are drafting policy. Being able to connect up and reference specific insights as they write is a desirable feature that could save time and reduce risk of policies being challenged.
What we wanted to learn
We want to work out how to structure evidence in a way that makes it easier to search and find at different points in the plan-making process. To do that, we started with this prototype, to help us understand how evidence might be exposed. This example assumes that an officer is searching for evidence in order to explain the rationale, for example, when preparing for hearing.
